7. The Roofed Inner Court
Initially an open inner court was assumed, like in comparable mediterranean villas. This proved to be unlikely in the local climate, as the court was flooded frequently during longer rainfalls. It also resulted in very humid cellar rooms.
In 2005 a new reconstruction based on the idea of a roofed court was implemented. About one third of the hall was rebuilt and 5 new rooms are now open to the public.
